Cummins Falls State Park is one of our favorite hikes and Tennessee waterfalls and until very recently, was the latest addition to our incredible Tennessee State Parks system.

Rugby, Tennessee is an absolutely mesmerizing community founded by author Thomas Hughes in the 1880’s as an experimental utopian society. While it failed, the most beautiful victorian village remains with a dedicated group committed to preserving its heritage.

We collected ornaments from some of our favorite spots in Tennessee. 

Our first comes from the fine folks at Fayetteville Main and is a gorgeous model of their historic Lincoln Theater.

In traveling our great state this year, I have realized how incredibly lucky I am to have @theperennialhomemaker and the boys be willing participants in our incredible journey. I am pretty dang lucky.

It starts where it ends as we headed to Laurel Fork Falls in the Cherokee National Forest at the Pond Mtn Wilderness.

We had two colonels at Wally’s Breakfast Club today as my Korean War veteran and Marine colonel came to hear his longtime friend, The Barefoot Historian, Colonel Linda Moss Mines speak about why Wally’s is so important.

Got my first Paul Harris Fellow award today from Chattanooga Rotary Club today.
