Outdoors: Laurel Forks Falls, Elizabethton

Happy Thanksgiving Monday Y’all!

As we finish the 95 counties in Tennessee this year, we wanted to end the trip where we first got the idea. To that end, we headed up to the Pond Mountain Wilderness way way up in Elizabethton to see the gorgeous Laurel Fork Falls on Laurel Creek.

It is contained in the gigantic 655,000 acre Cherokee National Forest that stretches from essentially North GA to Virginia. This year, the boys hiked on five different spots in the forest.

One county to go.
