I love Memphis and one of our family’s fave stops was the uniquely Tennessee Stax Museum.

This month our guest was the UT System Chief Economic Development Director Victoria Hirschberg who came to tell us about all the excellent things her team is doing to help our great state.

I don’t remember which trip we got this ornament on. The Trimble Family took A LOT of trips up to Fall Creek Falls as it seems Baker’s favorite restaurant is at the Lodge at Fall Creek Falls but I think that is mainly for i ce cream & mac & cheese.

Cummins Falls State Park is one of our favorite hikes and Tennessee waterfalls and until very recently, was the latest addition to our incredible Tennessee State Parks system.

Rugby, Tennessee is an absolutely mesmerizing community founded by author Thomas Hughes in the 1880’s as an experimental utopian society. While it failed, the most beautiful victorian village remains with a dedicated group committed to preserving its heritage.

We collected ornaments from some of our favorite spots in Tennessee. 

Our first comes from the fine folks at Fayetteville Main and is a gorgeous model of their historic Lincoln Theater.

In traveling our great state this year, I have realized how incredibly lucky I am to have @theperennialhomemaker and the boys be willing participants in our incredible journey. I am pretty dang lucky.

It starts where it ends as we headed to Laurel Fork Falls in the Cherokee National Forest at the Pond Mtn Wilderness.
