Event: Slawburger Festival, Fayetteville

Happy Monday Y’all!

This weekend continued Trimble Family Circus across the greatest state in America as we took in the awesome Slawburger Festival on the square in Fayetteville that was organized by Fayetteville Main Street.

This was our final stop after a long day and we were excited. We passed through earlier this year on our way to Shiloh National Military Park and couldn’t wait to come back.  Nestled in the heart of Lincoln County, Fayetteville epitomizes small town Tennessee and it was really neat to learn about how it is growing from Fayetteville Main Street and their Executive Director Aimee Byrd

I ate too much again and we found ourselves walking over to the super cool Cahoot’s Restaurant to check out what used to be the town jail after watching chainsaw art and listening to great country music from Shelby Lee Lowe.

Economic development takes many forms and these festivals not only start the Spring season, they jump start the economies of these communities as well.

Y’all go be Tennesseans this week and see what your great state has to offer!
