Event: National Cornbread Festival, South Pittsburg

Happy Sunday Y’all!

This weekend the Trimble Family Circus rolled into historic South Pittsburg for the famous National Cornbread Festival hosted every year since 1997 to celebrate their town’s unique history with all things cornmeal and cast iron.

US Stove and Lodge Cast Iron have been staples of Tennessee industry for decades and their commitment to preserving our heritage is second to none.  The boys had fun playing on the slide and even got a caricature before feasting on all 9 types of cornbread in this year’s Cornbread Alley.  They ate chocolate covered strawberries and generally overindulged all day.

Don’t sleep on The French Cookie’s Honey Butter Cornbread Macarons. That’s a best in show product.

Y’all go be Tennesseans today and see what your great state has to offer!  The Cornbread Festival continues today!
