Eats: Cookie Jar Cafe, Dunlap

So, I have been waiting (im)patiently for over a year to make my return to the famous Cookie Jar Cafe after a fire broke out at the end of 2022.  Long heralded as a must stop for anyone traveling through Tennessee , Cookie Jar Cafe was worth the wait.

From a nostalgic perspective, there isn’t a lot new to look at from the outside which is awesome. The new interior is wonderfully done and the food is still incredible.  I must admit that the Trimble family couldn’t wait for our Saturday reservations (make one on their website) and went early on Wednesday too.

So awesome to see local businesses be supported and the crowd was so big outside Saturday that you would’ve thought Dolly Parton was in town.

Things are right again in the Sequatchie Valley.
