Community: Wally’s Breakfast Club, Chattanooga

Happy Friday Y’all!

The March Edition of the Wally’s Breakfast Club took place this morning with the man that made it famous. Before his inaugural appearance some 18 months back, our club was just a few dedicated members and now, wow.

Our guest this morning was Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Senior Policy Advisor and Former TN State Senator from District 9 Mike Bell. Sen. Bell works tirelessly for all outdoorsmen and women and the wildlife we hold in trust for all our residents.

Today his remarks centered around a number of topics but one that I was very surprised about. On average, less than 5% of Tennessee residents hold a hunting or fishing license. Spending all my life in Tennessee, I figured that number to be way higher. He gave remarks about the Asian Carp problem plaguing our waterways.

TWRA does a tremendous job and they are celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year so congrats to one of the finest agencies in our great state!
