Community: CADAS Annual Day on the Hill, Nashville
Huge thanks to Paul Fuchar and CADAS for allowing me to participate in their Annual Day on the Hill in Nashville today as their newest Board Member. It was an honor to advocate for such a great organization whose singular purpose is to make people’s lives better through addiction treatment.
Y’all have heard me talk a lot about my history and that I wouldn’t be here without some good folks giving me a second chance. That is what we are all about at CADAS.
It was truly a privilege to spend time with my good friend State Representative Greg Vital on Monday and one of the highlights of the last couple years to be his guest at Governor Bill Lee’s State of the State.
However, I am very partial to the two ladies in our esteemed delegation in Rep Patsy Hazlewood and Esther Haynes for adding some real class to Cordell Hull. We were fortunate to meet with my favorite state Senator, Chairman, Representative and long lost brother Ron Travis and rounding out our day with Chairman Dan Howell of the Transportation Commitee, Rep. Greg Martin and Rep. Yusef Hakeem.
Thank all of y’all for your support. Our state is a great place and we should commend Gov. Bill Lee for his commitment to preserving Tennessee and the quality of life of its residents.
Also, Go Vols. Beat the NCAA. Randy Boyd is coming for y’all.
Y’all be Tennesseans this week and go help somebody!
