Outdoors: UT Gardens, Jackson

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Check out our stop to the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture Gardens in Jackson to see what the Trimble family believes is the finest UT Agriculture site in the entire state.

The West TN Institute of Agriculture offers a unique glimpse into some of the most beautiful species of flora and fauna in the Western Grand Division as well as new varieties that are being tested in real world environments to improve cultivation across the state.

We have done all the Botanical Gardens that the UT system offers and while UT Gardens Knoxville is gorgeous, the Jackson stop was our favorite as it was filled with petunias, sunflowers and zoysia grass varieties that pleased this golfers soul.

Remember, agriculture is still far and away the largest industry in Tennessee and we have to preserve it at all costs.
