Event: Historic Rugby British Festival
Happy Monday Y’all!
The Trimble Family circus took in another Spring Festival in #tennessee this weekend as we headed north after the Soddy Breakfast to Historic Rugby for the Annual British Fest. I can honestly say I had never been to this quaint Victorian Village before and it was so neat.
Started in 1880 by English author Thomas Hughes, Rugby has become a destination for a decidedly more deliberate pace of life. The Annual British Festival brings in a wide array of period activities like cricket and May Pole dancing while offering a unique glimpse into what life was like over 140 years ago. Almost everything printed in the town still comes from the Historic Rugby print shop and it is also an entry point for the Big South Fork National Park Recreation Area.
Even my wife got in on the athletic action for the day!
Y’all go be Tennesseans this week and see what your great state has to offer!
