Eats: Bucky’s Family Restaurant

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Check out our trip to the famous Bucky’s Family Restaurant in Columbia, Tennessee. Bucky’s is a cafeteria-style meat and three that opened in the late 1980’s that offers comfort food at its finest.

We stopped by on our way to check out Columbia Academy campus to see where my dad finished high school when it was Columbia Military Academy.

The food at Bucky’s was great and exactly what we needed after a morning of hiking at Henry Horton State Park before hopping back on the road. Excellent chicken and dumplings.  Small businesses like this are what make cities like Columbia thrive. Its a short drive from Nashville and a little over 2 hours from the Chattanooga which makes it perfect for a day trip!
