Community: Wally’s Breakfast Club, Chattanooga

Happy Friday Y’all!

Our first 2024 installment of the esteemed Wally’s Breakfast Club took place this morning featuring Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance Commissioner Carter Lawrence , Chief of Staff Jennifer Peck and the incomparable Toby Compton who came to talk about commerce, consumers and protecting the all important insurance marketplace.

Having been appointed under Governor Bill Lee, Commissioner Lawrence and his fantastic team have done an excellent job promoting a pro-business insurance regulation platform that protects consumers by offering them choices in coverage.

Remember kids, competition in the marketplace drives customer service.

As Chief Peck brilliantly put it, TDCI is the Swiss army knife of government covering a lot of shoreline.  Under their purview, they control the state Fire Marshal Office , the Deptartment of Public Safety and the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in addition to their responsibilities in commerce and insurance.

Commissioner Lawrence and his staff have dedicated themselves to protecting Tennessee residents and continue to do an amazing job.  It matters who governs.
