Community: Friends of Hixson

Happy Thursday Y’all!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to sponsor the June meeting of the Friends of Hixson civic organization at Clear Creek Church to hear a legislative wrap up from Senator Bo Watson and State Rep. Greg Martin.

They discussed the additional 261 million dollars funneled into K-12 education with no tax increase while st the same time passing the largest single tax cut in Tennessee history by simplifying the franchise tax that was hampering small business growth.
