Attraction: Pink Palace, Memphis

One of the coolest experiences in all of West Tennessee is the famous Pink Palace Museum that was originally part of a nefarious story involving Clarence Saunders, founder of the Piggly Wiggly, his dream home and Wall Street.

In the aftermath of his spectacular public failure, the City of Memphis was left with a tough decision as to what to do with an almost completed home that no one could afford and a piece of land that was too valuable for the city to lose.

The solution ended up becoming one of Memphis’ greatest attractions and one of the best museums we have seen in 2025.
