Outdoors: Red Clay State Park, Cleveland

Red Clay State Park is an absolute gem of a Tennessee State Park tucked away in the far southeast corner of our great state.

It was also the final council home of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Tribes before they were marched on the Trail of Tears to the Oklahoma Territory.

Their eternal flame is one of the most inspiring spots in Tennessee as it was kept alive by their famous runners along the entirety of the journey.
