Less than 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Broadway lies one of the best quiet spots in Nashville at the Frist Art Museum

If you are like us and getting older than we care to believe, the Frist offers a quality experience in the old federal Post Office building directly across from Sean Brock's outstanding Bar Continental.

The Frist is a fine example of Tennessee and it’s commitment to philanthropy courtesy of the Frist family.

It is an easy day trip up from Chattanooga and we found ourselves immersed in classical Spanish American Art on loan from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
