Attraction: Chattanooga Choo Choo at Christmas

Happy Monday Y’all from the Rotunda at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.

This is always one of the prettiest trees in town and Chattanooga will always be a Choo Choo town first. In my life, it started out rundown like most of downtown but through some incredible work of former Mayor Jon Kinsey and community partners like Preserve Chattanooga the Choo Choo became vibrant once again.

It now houses restaurants like STIRE and Elsie's daughter and has a brand new hotel called The Hotel Chalet at the Choo Choo which is always bustling. I think it is safe to say that the economic development we see on our Southside has a lot to do with the success of this cornerstone of the Chattanooga community.
