Community: Wally’s Breakfast Club, Chattanooga

This month’s installment of the Wally’s Breakfast Club featured Collier Construction and Founder Ethan Collier who came to discuss one of the more hot-button issues in our area, land use plans. Ethan is also Board Chairman of the Chattanooga/Hamilton County Regional Planning Authority.

No matter what side of the debate you are on, if you listen, you can always learn. Today, I learned that 53% of Hamilton County residents are renters and not homeowners. I was shocked.

If this week has taught us nothing else, it is that we should remember the power and importance of debating issues facing our communities.
